country pork sausage1 lb country pork sausage
heavy whipping cream1 & 1/4 cups heavy whipping cream
beef broth1/2 cup beef broth
butter2 tbsp butter
xanthan gum1/2 tsp xanthan gum
salt and peppersalt and pepper to taste

Directions

In a large skillet, brown sausage.

Remove sausage from skillet and set aside.

Add the rest of the ingredients except xanthan gum to the skillet, and bring to a slow boil.

Add the xanthan gum and stir constantly for 1 minute.

Add the sausage back to the skillet and reduce heat.

Let the mixture simmer until a thick, gravy consistency is achieved.
